Samsung and SK Join OpenAI's Stargate AI Infrastructure Initiative

OpenAI announced that South Korean tech giants Samsung and SK have joined its Stargate initiative, a major expansion aimed at building global AI infrastructure.

The partnership will focus on two key areas: scaling up production of advanced memory chips and constructing next-generation data centers in South Korea.
